2nd Northmead Scout Group has been serving the youth of the Northmead community for over 60 years. Our historic hall was opened on Saturday 16th September 1959.
Northmead Scouts are open to boys and girls aged between 5 and 15 . We currently operate a Joey, Cub and a Scout Unit.
Our hall and grounds are located on a former sandstone quarry and is adjacent to over 12 square kilometres of native bushland for our Scouts to explore. We meet weekly during school term and often go on organised camps during many weekends throughout the year. Our members enjoy activities such as bushwalking, canoeing and abseiling.
