We are happy for those interested in learning more about scouting to come along a visit us on some of our meeting nights to get a feel for the fun and activities.

What will it cost?
Like all organisations there are fees. The fees paid for your child to be in scouting are directed down two streams. The first (a fixed amount) goes to Scouts Australia to cover insurance, administration etc. The remainder stays within the group to cover the costs of providing the varied and exciting programs for all our scouts, maintaining our equipment and the running costs of the hall etc.
Once you decide to join scouts you will be able to pay the joining fee and the annual membership (pro rated when joining during the year). Our current fees are:
Annual Fee – $360.00 to be paid in Term 1 and before week 3, ($260.00 if using active kids voucher) plus a one of joining fee of $65 and $50.00 to cover scarf and badges. Your Scout Leader will give you full details and forms prior to your joining.
Needless to say we also need to complement the fees by fundraising so that we can support additional scouting activities like Jamborees, Cuborees, Regional and District events and many other exciting group camps, trips etc. Parents are expected to assist in as many of these events as possible, this is how we keep our fees low.
